“Train up a child in the way he should go and he will not depart from it.” –Proverbs 22:6 KJV
EMCT strives to provide affordable, quality education to students. A free scholarship is available for students who are unable to meet financial obligations. At Everett Mission schools children learn to speak English and participate in extra curricular activities such as sports and community service.
“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction…”–James 1:27 KJV
The Everett orphan home exists to serve India’s orphans irrespective of caste, creed, community and religion through the love of Jesus. India has the world’s largest orphan population. The caste system and poverty leave countless children without a future. The vision of EMCT is to impact a generation with the love of Jesus by loving, caring, and educating orphans in India. Presently, EMCT has seven children in its orphan home. The children participate in Sunday worship, fellowship, and other special events.
“Remember your creator in the days of your youth...”–Ecclesiastes 12:1 NIV
Everett Mission Youth Camp is a unique opportunity held each year throughout Jharkhand and Bihar for youth. Through this ministry, EMCT revives, raises, teaches, and inspires youth to return to their churches and communities as a light for Christ.
“I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.” –Matthew 25:45 ESV
At EMCT we firmly believe that the development of the community is the responsibility of the church and believers. Therefore, we play an active role in this area by helping poor rickshaw drivers, people on railway platforms, homeless people on the streets, and the elderly by giving away free blankets, groceries, clothes, and wheel chairs.
“Remember your creator in the days of your youth...” Ecclesiastes 12:1 NIV
“He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he set him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him.” –Luke 10:34 ESV
EMCT understands that the basic health and hygiene needs of the community must be met. We help people get healthcare by arranging medical camps and providing access to medications and doctors.
